Why Use an ACV Rinse?

100% Natural shampoo bars do not contain the rinse-aid chemicals found in many commercial shampoos. Liquid shampoos are often more similar to detergents than a natural shampoo bar. Use an ACV rinse after every shampoo bar use so your hair rinses clean & soft (especially in hard water).

Other Reasons to Use an ACV Rinse

1. To remove hard water mineral build-up from your hair that causes dryness & breakage. Chlorine, potassium, calcium and other positively charged ions in tap water are rinsed away from hair by the negatively charged ACV rinse.

2. To make hair naturally shiny and soft. The low pH of ACV causes the outer layer of the hair to close making it smooth and flat. Smooth surfaces reflect light better than rugged ones, so hair is naturally shiny.

3. To help conditioners and other products penetrate and soften hair. Hard water minerals attach to damaged areas of hair- exactly where conditioners need to do their work!

4. To aid detangling and prevent hair loss. When the hair cuticle lies smooth and flat (like shingles on a roof) hairs glide past each other easily. This makes detangling easier and prevents hair breakage.
